Well, I was going to make this a really cool first post from Qumana, the easy to use desktop blog editor … but I can’t get it to connect to any of my WordPress.com accounts (I currently have nine!).
I get this error:
Error trying to retrieve your blog information.
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed:
There may be more, but that’s all I can see.
I’ve got it to connect to the other place, which is a stand-alone WordPress.org installation but not to our Web Team blog which is another.
Also getting this problem. There does not seem to be a decent free wordpress mac client out there yet.
also seeing this, just got qumana last night in hope of some offline blog editing.
using mac osx 10.5.6 on a ppc
wow, huh, i am having the exact same problem. Mac os 10.5.5 on ppc
When you see the error msg, click “Back”, find “Endpoint”, it begin with “https://”, change it to “http://”.
Might be not secure because your password will send in pain text.
I had the same Problem, but what gray said helped me out!
Thanks a lot!
Yes, thank you for the solution gray!
I had the same problem on my XP home machine hoping to use Qumana for offline action for my wordpress blog & had the same error message.
The solution worked, basically after you see the error, click “Back” button, change the url that begins with “https://”, and change it to “http://”.
yep, worked for me as well. thank you so much!
